Second, the neighbouring village of Forfarmax contained living inhabitants, which ment that the village itself could not possibly be in Forlorn (all the domain's inhabitants are Goblyns). I solved this by assuming that the castle has only been part of Ravenloft since the Grand Conjunction. It was thus a rather obvious conclusion that the castle itself would be featured in the domain.įirst, Forfarmax was never mentioned in the boxed set (naturally), so it could not have existed at that time (you don't simply gloss over the only other castle in a domain). Forfarmax is from the same setting from where Forlorn has been drawn.
The castle is mentioned in the accessory Children of the Night:Ghosts. This concerns the inclusion of the castle Forfarmax. Still, one change has been made in the map depicted here, and the one shown in the boxed set. Thus, there is little NOT documented about the domain. Indeed, it is the only domain ever to have it's own boxed set, competely aimed at the domain and those within its borders.
It is one of the few domains that has been very clearly detailed. Forlorn is a scottish domain from the world of Forfar.
